The agreement marks the beginning of a sweeping transformation strategy aimed at strengthening T2’s competitiveness, revitalizing its services, and positioning the company as a leading force in Nigeria’s fast-evolving digital economy.
A future-ready network
The collaboration will leverage Huawei’s world-class technological expertise to overhaul T2’s core network infrastructure, enhancing capacity, resilience, and security. The modernization forms the foundation of T2’s four-phase roadmap, Stabilisation, Modernisation, Transformation, and Growth, designed to future-proof the company’s network and deliver superior consumer experiences.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Lagos, Obafemi Banigbe, CEO of T2, described the agreement as a turning point: “This agreement is more than a contract, it’s a catalyst.
