Facebook hosted a workshop for over 20 top Nigerian creators to underscore its commitment to supporting the region’s creative community.
The event equipped creators with the knowledge and resources necessary to monetize their content on the platform.
The workshop featured a star-studded lineup of creators, including Mark Angel, Taaooma, Crazeclown, Kie Kie, Aproko Doctor, Gina Ehikodi, Brain Jotter, MC Shem, Oluwadolarz, Kenzy Udosen, Omoye Isabota, Chivera Media, Juliet Godwin, and David Obi.
In line with its recent announcement, Facebook has introduced two new monetization features – In-Stream Ads and Facebook Ads on Reels – for eligible creators in Nigeria. These tools empower content creators to generate income from their original videos and community engagement.
